Nikisha

Nikisha Reyes-Piles is a standout singer and songwriter with natural abilities. Singing since the age of five years old, Nikisha wrote her first song at the age of ten.  A sure sign, that at an early age her love for music would allow her to make her mark on the world in song.   A global artist in every sense of the word, Nikisha was born and grew up in Trinidad, which accounts for her authentic Caribbean nuances that flavor some of her songs.

Nikisha’s voice is truly memorable. She joins a select group of vocalists who have the ability to engage and move the listener almost effortlessly when they sing. Whether it is encouraging the listener to get up and dance, or expressing the pain of a break up, Nikisha is able to adapt to each style effortlessly. Her versatility allows listeners through her various soundtracks to take those emotional journeys we face in our everyday lives. Her songs translate well across all age groups. Nikisha specialises in fusing Calypso, Reggae, Soul & Pop Music. Some of her influence range from the likes of Celine Dion to Machel.

Nikisha is currently the 2014 Groovy Monarch holder for the annual London Calypso Tent Soca Groovy Competition.
