She has since learnt Oils which allowed participation in several shows showcasing more oil paintings along with charcoal and graphite pieces. She has also exhibited at Think Art Work Studio (2021), Rotunda Gallery (2021-23), Loftt Gallery (2024), Arnim’s Art Galleria and I at the 2022 Horizon’s Gallery New Faces Exhibition. Her first Solo Exhibition Sanskrityo Kaa Mishran (Blend of Cultures) was at Arnim’s Galleria and her Second Solo Aatma – Spirituality and Ways of life (2024) was at Studio Joli. She also works full time as a Professional Portrait artist.
Her work explores the human being, the everyday faces of the people around her, taking ordinary persons and exposing the features that make them unique and beautiful. “Within portraiture the regular person can be overlooked and overshadowed by works that focus on the more prominent figures in society. I aim to build a stage for those persons, amplifying their voices through paint and pencil, opening the public’s eyes to a world that is already in front of them, a world hidden through a lens of our predisposed beliefs of what is beautiful and what is not.” Her objective is well achieved as her works often continue to draw people in both visually and reflectively.
