Dexter Mc Burnette

In Tabaquite Dexter always admired how his father used to draw and paint. And whilst his uncle sang, his mother wrote poems and his grandfather crafted and fixed shoes in his shed. His appreciation then for being artistic runs deep. Dex started drawing at a tender age and by secondary school he was already venturing into courses involving ART, MUSIC & CRAFT.

His current preference is sketching mostly Portraits; but he has tried other mediums inclusive of water colors and acrylics. As he continues to learn and find himself his wish is to establish a place for himself in the art community. His varied interests include poetry, spoken word and song writing. He has also dabbled in music production and believes he is confident enough to emerge from behind the scenes and showcase the wide range and abundance of his natural and developing talents.
